Chad Swan, M.D., specializes in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeries. Dr. Swan is board-certified in three specialties: He is board-certified in general surgery and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is board-certified in thoracic surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is also actively involved in the American College of Surgeons, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Vascular Surgery and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.

Dr. Swan completed fellowships in vascular and cardiothoracic surgeries at the Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina. Prior to that, he completed a general surgery residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas, and received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and anthropology from Tulane University.

Dr. Swan resides in Sumner County with his wife, Kelly, and three daughters, Kathryn, Samantha and Charlotte.
